About The Speaker — Oluwasegun Makinde

Oluwasegun Makinde is a distinguished scholar, executive leader, and wealth strategist with a career spanning global organizations including Shell, ExxonMobil, Imperial Oil, and the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation. He built a strong technical foundation as a data scientist and machine learning engineer, contributing to complex, large-scale initiatives across multiple industries.

He later transitioned into the wealth management industry, where he has established himself as a seven-figure annual income earner. In 2025, his organization generated over $5 million in revenue, with his personal earnings placing him among the top income earners in North America.

I’m an HR expert and career coach with over 14 years of experience, and I’ve helped over 1,000 professionals secure and keep their jobs in Canada.
