Business Development Associate

Overview

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Representative within our Cross Border division. This position falls under our Sales and Account Management line of business and is located in Toronto, Canada. In this role you’ll collaborate with a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena, delivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across the continent. You will report directly to Chief Sales Guy and regularly collaborate with account managers and other sales team members to deliver currency risk management and global payment solutions.

Responsibilities
As a global leader in foreign exchange, Corpay, delivers best-in-class currency risk management and global payment solutions. Our comprehensive offerings provide companies with powerful financial tools, allowing them to adeptly navigate and mitigate currency risks while simplifying the intricacies of cross-border payments. As a business development manager, you will be responsible for the following: 
  • Redefining sales strategies in foreign exchange, transforming how businesses approach currency risk management and global payments. 
  • Collaborating with a high-performing and seasoned sales team to foster new business opportunities in North America within the foreign exchange arena 
  • Responsible for delivering industry leading currency risk management and global payment solutions to Small-medium sized businesses across the continent. 
  • Executing daily outreach to potential businesses, engaging in cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging to either qualify and book meetings with new leads, or disqualify them as needed  
  • Positioning your conversations towards business owners, C-suite executives, and finance leaders, where you'll articulate customized solutions for their currency risk management and global payment needs.  
  • Creating new business opportunities for the firm while simultaneously advancing your sales skills and career within the dynamic field of foreign exchange and financial services 
Additional Requirements
1-2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or similar position
