Luminous Consulting is proud to partner with our client in seeking a dynamic Community Manager. This individual will be pivotal in ensuring the vibrancy and effectiveness of the Black Women Tech Hub community by fostering engagement, managing content, organizing events, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will be passionate about diversity and inclusion in the tech industry and possess the skills to drive meaningful interactions within the community.

Location: Remote- with potential required attendance at meetings based on business needs
Toronto, ON, and BC preferred.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Community Building & Engagement:
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all members.
  • Implement engagement strategies to encourage active participation across platforms.
Content Management:
  • Create and curate the DEI materials, guides, and case studies for the Resource Library.
  • Oversee content creation and curation across digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with influencers to amplify the Hub's mission.
Event Planning & Execution:
  • Organize workshops, webinars, and networking sessions.
  • Ensure events align with the community's needs and goals.
Stakeholder Relations:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for community members and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners.
Mentorship & Support Programs:
  • Manage mentorship initiatives to support community growth.
  • Gather feedback to improve program effectiveness.
Data-Driven Strategy & Reporting:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret feedback and performance data.
  • Track engagement metrics and report on community activities.
  • Use data insights to refine strategies for greater impact.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement:
  • Collect member feedback to inform future initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to keep the community relevant.
Additional Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in event planning and execution.
  • Experience with coordinating and managing projects and stakeholders engagement
  • Familiarity with challenges faced by Black women in tech.
  • Background in non-profit or mission-driven organizations.

Educational Requirements

  • Experience:
3+ years in community management, preferably within tech or non-profit sectors. Proven ability to build and sustain vibrant online communities.

Salary Range: $,60,000 to $70,000 per year, with benefits.
