• Financial acumen, experience with problem solving with analytical thinking.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software.
• Knowledge of SAP Software is a must, Power BI is an advantage.
• Microsoft Office experience (intermediate/advance experience in excel).
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual (French and English). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.

Ensuring timely and efficient communication with controllers and the Finance/Accounting team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement. Month end activities to include but not limited to, account analyses, account reconciliations, journal entry creation, posting and review, inventory analyses, balance reconciliations. Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations. Financial compliance reporting to include monthly, quarterly and annual reviews. Support reporting needs of the business throughout the month including month end and quarter end processes. Maintaining audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews. Communicating information to relevant stakeholder groups to support corrective action plans. Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requirements. Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.

• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role.
