In this role you will provide HR services to various Canadian and international companies with employees across Canada. You will be required to maintain current knowledge on provincial and federal employment legislation, human rights, contract law and best practices as they relate to the Human Resources field.

Specific Skills
We are looking for candidates that have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in an HR focused position. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Canadian Legislation including inter provincial Employment Standards and Human Rights is required. Completion of a post-secondary education in HR (or equivalent) from a recognized institution, and a current CPHR designation is required.  Bilingual French/English language would be considered an asset. Only candidates being considered for interviews will be contacted. PEO Canada offers a competitive total compensation package. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Creating, modifying and reviewing of all employee related documentation;
  • Developing employee policy and procedure handbooks;
  • Advising clients on progressive discipline, performance management and termination
  • procedures;
  • Creating and revising job descriptions and assisting with job postings;
  • Performing compensation analysis; and
  • Providing clients with recommendations and information on current HR practices.
