About the role

We are looking for a dynamic people-focused Project Manager for our growing team! In this role, you will have the chance to demonstrate your skill and experience in leading change and transformation through large-scale program development and delivery across a wide variety of strategic human resource initiatives. In this role you will work collaboratively across the Canadian HR community and deliver programs and changes that benefit the day to day our managers and employees across the country.

Specific Skills

What you'll do here:

Analyze the potential impacts and issues of the project and the impacts on the various stakeholders in its sector of activity.
Coordinate the deployment with the different teams by ensuring that objectives and deadlines are met.
Communicate changes according to the approval cycle and prepare the agenda based on approved and upcoming changes.
Plan and coordinate project activities related to requirements or organizational changes.
Verify business needs, including conducting interviews and organizing work sessions.
Document business requirements using document templates.
Ensure that on the day of deployment, all activities are put in place so that everything takes place according to the project goals, established standard and timelines.
Following deployments, analyze the indicators of success obtained to ensure that they are in line with what is targeted and propose solutions as necessary.
Act as a champion and coach for the HR community on effective project management tools, techniques.
Be a resource person for the various stakeholders affected in the event of problems with the deployment enabling them to excel in their day to day deliveries
Act as an agent of change to evaluate and communicate the impact of these changes on the various operational teams.

Responsibilities

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree or any combination of relevant and equivalent training and experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in activities related to project management in HR
Knowledge of the insurance industry is considered a strong asset
PMP Certifications, strong assets
Knowledge and master of project and change management methodologies, tools and best practices is required
Experience leading teams and projects through agile methodologies
Ease in managing within a changing environment, ability to smoothly navigate and bring clarity to ambiguity
Proven abilities to lead through influence with effective relationship building skills to all levels of an organization
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Naturally curious, ability to pick up knowledge and deliver relevant insight – diagnosing and simplifying complex problems and dependencies.
Excellent communication skills – confidence to interact and present to senior leaders
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
