The Opportunity

The project quality advisor is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to ensure the effective implementation of the project quality requirements and quality assurance activities throughout the lifecycle of a project. They work closely with the project team to proactively identify and address quality risks, monitor compliance with standards and specifications, conduct root cause analysis on critical quality incident and drive continuous improvement.

 

 

Specific Skills
 
  • Experience and training in conducting Quality audits
  • Training and experience in conducting root cause analysis
  • Experience working in the oil and gas industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control techniques
  • Proficient in the use of data analysis tools, and quality control documentation
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead quality-focused initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality plan
  • Provide guidance and advisory support to the project team on quality-related matters, such as the interpretation of standards, quality control methods, and corrective actions
  • Conduct regular quality audits to verify the conformance of project deliverables, processes, and documentation to specified requirements
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement on the project and across project
  • Facilitate the resolution of quality-related issues and non-conformances, working with the project team to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and subject matter experts, to ensure alignment on quality expectations and requirements
  • Provide training and mentoring to the project team on quality best practices and tools
  • Maintain comprehensive quality records and documentation, reporting on quality performance and the effectiveness of the quality program
  • Recommend and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall project quality and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or project quality advisory role
