  What are your skills and experience?

• University Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of data and analytical software (SAS, Python or R). SAS certification considered an asset.
• Experience in Retail or Banking Industry an asset in any of the following areas: marketing or sales support, operations, finance.

As a Senior Modelling and Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to key clients within the business.  Specifically, you will become a significant contributor of actionable insights which will drive strategy, support with tactical initiatives, as well as improve efficiency within the organization. Your analysis and business intelligence tools will help promote and sustain the profitable growth of the business. • Establish a strong understanding of financial and customer related data sources, with emphasis on delivering data driven solutions.
• Support the development of sound analytical models utilizing various data sources. Understand the statistical significance of various model outputs and how to interpret them for creating business value.
• Where possible, enhance analysis with the use of statistical methods to provide support for findings.
• Support cross functional teams with knowledge of data model applications and use cases.
• Extract, manipulate and interpret data to isolate key trends. Summarize findings into concise and informative reports and presentations, with an emphasis on storytelling, for easy interpretation by business partners across the organization.
• Provide proactive analyses on areas of the business which are influenced by customer behaviour trends.
