We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Associate to join our team and help us amplify our digital presence.

As a Social Media Associate, you will be responsible for curating, creating, and managing content across our social media platforms. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our social media channels are flooded with engaging, informative, and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience. You will work closely with our marketing and career services teams to align content with our strategic goals and enhance our brand’s visibility.

Specific Skills
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Associate or similar role, preferably in the career services or HR industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create and manage social media content (please include a link to your portfolio in your application).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and design.
  • Knowledge of career services, HR, or a related field is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
  • Curate and create high-quality content, including graphics, videos, articles, and posts that align with Luminous Accelerate-Career Services' mission and objectives.
  • Schedule and publish content regularly across all social media channels.
  • Monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the career services team to create content that addresses the needs and interests of our audience, including job search tips, resume advice, interview preparation, and more.
  • Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance and meet key KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and the career services industry to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce visually appealing and consistent content.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns, including giveaways, webinars, and live sessions.
